THE ELECTRIC MZ | Biography

The Electric MZ was formed by Stefan Wistrand in early spring 2013, realizing an idea he had had for a long time. A couple of tunes were already composed and some were just being made for this project that in a way is a going back in time with new eyes to Wistrand's early roots in the environments of experimental rock and jazz of the 70s. The goal is to make music that has a deep content and feeling, but besides that also has a groove. The band's first (vinyl) album "Silent in the Murmur" was released in 2015.
